Too many supposed 'good date' ideas.

Bad date a few years back -- first date with a 21yr old recent college graduate, petite and athletic, played D1 softball as CF, she likes sushi so we go out to a midrange place on the West side. We are discussing music, drinks, everything's going well, I can tell she really wants the date to continue to a bar/club and etc.

Then she lets slip, "I only shower once a week, I don't know why people feel the need to shower so often?!" She was not joking, and she did not take baths either.

If people don't mind a "nontraditional" and even goofy date, I'd suggest dinner ... and then bowling. That was my wife's suggestion on our first date, and we had a blast. It's impossible to be uptight when you're bowling.

(Like an idiot, I absolutely crushed her, because I refused to tank even though she's not a good bowler.)

I'm in college and a couple years ago i took a brainy girl to this annual 2nd hand book sale where they generally have all manner of obscure books. That worked well.

just gonna say. we need suggestions for this, as i'm in the same predicament. have been here before and it's always awkward.

i have been with girl for 4 weeks, so will be 5-6 on valentine's day. what the hell do you do in this situation???
