no way he´d be a "legend" if he hadn´t died before poker really took off. i guess he´d be a matusow/hellmuth style joke well known for being a good tournament player/huge side game fish with very bad behaviour on (berating fish/dealers, getting on monkey tilt easily) and suicide style bad habits off the table (drugs, sportsbooks etc) nowadays.
