If they win next week they could lose every game for the rest of my life and I would still be happy.

this coming from perhaps the most unhappy, negative poster in the philly team threads.

Im only realistic. Sorry I didnt think the eagles were gonna go 12 and 4. And I am definitely not unhappy with the way the Phillies season went at all. Compared to you all though I would agree, I am pretty negative. McNabb is so good! Hes the best QB in the NFC! Reid is a great coach! Yea, that doesnt work.

If we hold the pats under 30 pts in the first half i'll be happy. And I'm not even joking. Just such a bad matchup for us next week.

[/ QUOTE ]

I kind of wish Buddy Ryan was coaching the game the week. You could either count on an upset or if the Pats try the run-up-the-score-[censored], he'd run out some Bounty Bowl Action.

question for all you eagles fans:

were you happy to see McNabb vs. TO result in owens leaving philly? personally i think mcnabb is a whiny little btch, complains about everything that doesnt go his way (the comments about black qbs having it harder than white ones was just plain stupid imo). While TO is an idiot, he works and plays harder than everyone and it shows.

But ya, just wanted to hear how you guys felt about it

It wasn't TO vs McNabb, rather TO vs the Eagles. McNabb could have handled the situation better, but that was never the root of the problem.

If the situation could have been resolved so that both McNabb and TO would happily remain in Philly, I'd have been all for it. However, if it had to be one or the other, I'd keep McNabb in a heartbeat. I don't think anyone in the city ever really questioned that.

I did not. Mostly because the premise was flawed (that we could have McNabb or TO). Anyway, no I was not happy to see him go; at the same time there was no way he could stay. Given there was no other option it is not a decision that people tend to dwell on.
