Because Bodog is founded by a Canadian and therefore doesn't allow Canadians.

Is VIP still allowing US accounts from before the ban? I have a future bet on Anaheim winning the Stanley Cup and now that they're in the finals I'm a touch concerned.

Im from the US and still placing bets with VIP so I think as long as you had an account before the ban you're allright.
