Is folding on the river weak in this spot?
If so, would it be a call with AJ too?

bet more like 2.25-2.5 on flop and again more on the turn - you get raised and you know youre beat.

as it is youre getting 3-1 on the end, im probably calling this on that alone.

as for the aj comment the hand youre using doesnt include your kicker, aa77k so aq and aj play exactly the same on that river.

weak.. bet 2.5 on flop.. bet 4 on turn.

That $2 bet on the river is way worse than a check.. if you're trying to block bet you need to make it like 5.

That was my idea,
the moment i bet 2 it came to me that the only thing the raise would do is induce a bluff.

and then folding... at least call it,, id check call river, only if he calls like 1/2 pot. If he pots the river id fold.

I agree with all this, usually if someone does make such a weak bet like that i try and raise to steal anyway. check calling here is fine i think. and i think i would call his river raise.
