party poker won't send me my 2 ipods

way back before the store closed at party poker i ordered 2 ipods. well, 6 months later and dozens of emails sent to them, i still haven't received them.

not only did they not send them, their customer service has been horrible. 90% of my emails are replied with the same, "contact ups, here is the tracking #". ups said they have the billing info but never received anything from the shipper. a month ago, party poker finally acknowledged this and said, "ummmm........well.........our store is closed now so we are having a difficult time resovling this. please be patient."

however, a month has gone by and no updates from party poker. i sent them another email last week only to get the same unbelievable, "contact ups, here is the tracking #."

what a joke. it has been over 6 months since i placed my order. i played thousands and thousands of hands there before they locked out u.s. players and paid thousands in rake. i guess they don't care because i can't play there anymore anyways.

so i gave them another month and then replied to this email last week asking for an update. they send me the exact same email that i've received about 10 times saying that it was shipped ups. contact them. here is the tracking #. what a joke. atleast read the past emails or look up the history before sending me these automated responses!!

obviously, i'm never going to get my ipods. why don't they just tell me that instead of giving me lame excuses mixed in with the oh, ummm.......contact ups. i'm sure they will be delivering it any day now.

when you get really awful e-mail service from party you might want to consider calling them.


Their lame excuse to contact UPS is just their pre-conditioned, "we didn't read your e-mail but did focus on a couple key-words" type of response.
I think it actually doesn't have to mean you aren't getting them.
Yes, they can actually be that dumb and inattentive.

Reading your previous e-mails and actually seeing that this case has been going on for awhile might be beyond the realm of their comprhension.

I had a very similiar problem with a couple of books that ordered... after a few months and many emails they decided to just credit my account with some cash instead which was perfectly fine with me. You might want to see if they will do soemthing similiar for you.
