I porbably call bc I'm a station and you don't have reads but my spidey sense tells me you're beat more often than not here.

I don't think Rex actually plays this way, I think he's just mocking my play.....

when he called the flop bet i was putting him on:

55/66/77/99, T9/TJ/TQ, and few combinations of two overcards AJ KQ KJ QJ. i would have expected KT or AT to raise the flop.

of course he could have 8 or some type monster, but i figured on the river i was ahead of most of his range.

also, on river, i have pretty much announced i do not have and ace or 8, so his overbet sorta screams "i am behind and need villian to fold"

Since he's an unknown it's really close. I don't think calling or folding are going to be much different in the long run. I'd probably end up calling since he's a complete unknown and has a big stack which makes it even more likely he'd bluff.

A villian who got his chips in with Aces PF prior to this is surely not going to check an Ace on the turn or flat call a random eight on the flop. The only hands I see u behind are 88 and TT as he could likely slowplay these monsters. So I would play it the same as there is a good chance its a bluff or PP that we are ahead of.

I play the same, and I think often times KK is good here.

Ignoring results I usually fold but I think its probably a call, KT makes way more sense than an ace, also he's got 99 or 77 a lot as well, I still would usually fold though cause unknowns generally dont follow a logical process and he'll show up with something random a lot and Im an early nit.
