Default Cheap things you buy even though you can afford expensive ones.

I can think of two for me,

1. Hotel Rooms, I don't understand spending a lot of money for a room when you're mainly using it while you're not even awake.

2. Flashy car, seems like a waste of money and mostly an image thing. I don't really see how an expensive car serves its functions better than a cheap but reliable one.

Others?

I buy the regular Kraft Macaroni and Cheese when I can easily afford the Deluxe version. Go figure.

Within 50 posts every consumer product imaginable will probably be named. Great thread idea.

Bottled Water.

I will never understand why a celebrity will serve their dog a $40 bottle of water. No matter how rich I ever become I will never, ever do that.

Obv. answer is beer.

I can enjoy a bud or miller as much as a fine ale.

I'll get a burger/sandwich without cheese if it doesn't make a big taste difference. Sometimes it's like $0.75 extra for ONE EFFING SLICE of cheese and that's something I can't justify.

Also, plane tickets.

Skimping on napkins and paper towels is fine.

When it comes to rubbing my own skin (tissue, toilet paper) I choose quality.
