well GuyOnTilt did a LHE simulation a while back(can't find the thread)

I'm pretty sure it was something like

1.8BB/100 winning player, 18-20BB/100standard deviation

100 100k samples, WR range around 0.5 to 3.5BB/100

over the entire 10million hand sample, it ran 1.95BB/100

aka 15000BB above expectation

the variance in this game really does go beyond all comprehension

this crossed my mind as i'm thinking of coaching next year. being able to say you turned around this idiot would probably get you as many students as you could ask for.

but i dont know if it'd be worth the pain of constantly arguing with him about not checking behind 40% of flops, and hearing him complain about bad beats etc
