Re: **Official Greatest NES Game of All-Time** -Sweet Sixteen
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Tecmo Super Bowl over FF? Some [censored] ass football game over THE ORIGINAL RPG? WTF [/ QUOTE ] dragon warrior says hi [/ QUOTE ] Why stop there? Looking around on Wikipedia, it seems to me that Ultima:Exodus was ported to the NES in '87; Dragon Warrior was released in '89. Not sure when Wizardry and Quest of the Avatar were ported, but those are definitely older, too. [/ QUOTE ] The only reason that I voted for TSB over FF was the fact that Dragon Warrior was the first RPG I played, and THAT is what got me hooked. FF may have been the first "modern" RPG that you could mix and match your party, but IMO the breakthrough in RPGs was actually DW3, with the multiple storylines that all come together (AND VIDEO POKER!). |
