Oh, and by the time the tournament was down to 1/2, I never saw anyone at my tables with a vpip above 30%. Doesn't mean they were good, but all of them at least knew how to play razz, and had enough discipline to refrain from gambling.

The Razz section of Sklansky on Poker, originally it's own book, now out of print, makes up over half this book. The luck factor is always high playing low stakes in any game. And your edge is always small when playing your very best game in any game. (Assuming one's best game is good enough to give them an edge.)

I've won two! One in Razz, one in stud.

Last night I inexplicably played in a freeroll that started around 2am my time with 2000 runners. Talk about a luckfest. I finished 3 hours later in 110th. On a couple of tables there were 4 and 5 sitting out at one time. Made for an interesting strategy. I chipped up nicely then but it was quite swingy.
