Default Trips on double paired board

Is this total spew? My thinking was that if I just call it puts me in a tricky spot on the river and my hand is too good to fold, so I decided to raise to try to take it down right there, folding out draws and J's with the same or worse kicker and live cards. I also have 6 or 9 outs against a better J.

Opp is 42/4/2, kind of fishy. Is bet/fold or check/call a better line here?

Like you said your hand is too good to fold. These kind of hands come down to reads. Clearly you don't respect villain enough to ever lay this down so makes it an easy play imo.

i'd guess he had the AJxx. ah, well, meh. i'd rather bet/fold than check/raise the turn, but whatever. without a read on villian to be nitty, your line is okay.

I don't mind your line since some opponents will put assume you've got like AA7 and will get it all in.

You raise under the gun with KJ86 with three diamonds in and you call your opponent fishy? He must have been REALLY bad...

Meh, I've been running 50/30 lately I open raise all types of trashy hands like this UTG. Probably a leak to be playing so loose, but I can get away with it by outplaying postflop at this level, and it's good for table image, and, moreover, I have more fun the more hands I play. I disagree that too loose preflop play alone makes makes a fish at low-limit omaha. Postlop is what really matters. Maybe I'm not so great there at times either, but at least I'm good enough to not spew horribly over and over again like so many people at this level.

with stack sizes I honestly will probably take the same line or just bet and stack off on turn. minimum of 6 outs, more likely 9, even assuming hand's no good.

There is a lot of value to be extracted here, not trying to get it all in becasue of AJxx is silly.
