Give me a break:

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP calls, CO caps, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls, MP calls.

Well my 98s is good for 3 cold here (this was always going 4 pre-flop because CO is tilting or just LAG.) SO PRETTY!

Flop: (20 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls $1 (All-In), MP calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, MP calls, CO calls.

Well, he bet and this is probably going to go 3 or 4 bets, but hey I HAVE A GUTSHOT SO I BETTER CALL.

Turn: (16.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets, BB calls, MP calls, CO calls.

It only took spewing half your stack to finally make a right play.

River: (20.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, BB bets, MP calls, CO calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 24.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Qc Qh (one pair, queens).
BB has 9d 8d (straight, jack high).
UTG has Tc Qd (one pair, tens).
MP has Ts 8s (two pair, tens and eights).
CO has Jc Kc (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: BB wins 24.50 BB.

I would play BB's hand in the exact same way.

Sorry dog. That hand is a good illustration of why this game is swingy. The only guy who played his hand absolutely terribly was UTG - yeah you got a bunch of bets in good, keep doing this and $. But if you won this everytime, you wouldn't get to keep putting bets in this good, DUCY?

98s is a fold in that spot preflop, its barely -EV, but a clear fold.
Im too tired to give an explanation.

Your terrible postflop position both relative to the raiser and the field makes drawing hands extremly difficult to play, especially in a bloated pot where people are going to be fighting hard to knock others out.

You'll have no idea how to asses how many bets you'll have to put in, cant bloat the pot well with a strong draw since the result is knocking ppl out of the pot, no positional control for free cards etc..

anyone else think that it would be better for hero to c/r the turn? given the read on CO I doubt he is ever taking a free card, and a turn c/r can give us good protection in a huge pot

fwiw I'd fold that preflop as well for the reasons heisen mentioned (poor position, absolute and relative)

meh, I call that pf. You have a neutral ev situation and its fun to suck out and win a bit pot. Only concern is that one of the limpers will fold, but players who limp in 6max usually do not fold for 2 more in a 5 way pot.

Is it just me or anyone has the same situation?
My PS was laggy as hell and I was auto-folded due to not act in time for 2 [censored] times when I had AA/set
(Also folding some hands which I didn't get to see)
If it's just me I am going to change an ISP!
