Those rumors gained some steam Monday when journeyman quarterback Ken Dorsey, who had been a mentor to Quinn in training camp, arrived at the Browns' complex. The team is expected to re-sign Dorsey, a four-year veteran, on Tuesday afternoon.

I've never had anything against your franchise. But as a Cowboys fan, our teams are now joined at the hip for one season. So you'll understand when I do a dance every single time you guys lose this year. I would be SO happy with 3-13. Give it your best shot, just for one year.

kyle you really see this as a bad thing? i'm kind of happy, at least they're doing SOMETHING. ken dorsey isn't exactly the guy i want being a mentor to my "future star quarterback" but if he can help get brady ready mentally it's not like the browns just flushed a promising season down the toilet.

It's not like Charlie Frye was any better. Face it, your entire future is tied to Brady Quinn, and if he busts, well, the building effort continues another few years.

im definitely happy with this move. frye is trash. theres only a certain number of times you can sit in the pocket for 15 seconds waiting to get inevitably sacked.

quinn bitched when dorsey was let go, let him mentor BQ. he's just a 3rd qb, he won't see PT.

frye is definitely trash, he's horrible.

that said, how [censored] dysfunctional is the coaching staff??? you have a battle all training camp, you PICK THE STARTING QUARTERBACK, and one 4-10 performance over THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE YEAR, and you drop him??

wtf?

i know as much as anyone how bad frye sucks, that's not what i'm talking about. if i had to hear 1 more time about how mobile he is, while he stands there and ducks under the rush 2 seconds after every other quarterback in the league would've gotten rid of it, i'd kill myself.

but why did he start in the first place if you were going to trade him based on 1 bad quarter against a very good defense?

again, i'll take the sack of beans over frye every day, all day. but the thinking is what gets me..

Frye was traded for a draft pick that we (Hawks) replaced by casting off Bryce Fisher to Tenn, which seems like an odd choice.
