I decided to go back to my original PNL design. I tweaked the colors a bit and made some minor changes. More revisions to come.

I'm surprised there aren't more entries already, but I guess it's early yet.

This is the kind of state of where I'm at for the moment:

I'm experiementing with setting up some nice semi-opaque windows for text & quotes on the back cover, rough sample of what I'm talking about here:

For other 2+2 texts there's been a tendency to just plop words down over a plain background, which is usually easy. It's not a good idea here because there are some legibility concerns due to the textured background. Problem is if I create a window I'm definining the space where the text has to go... I'd rather make the window to fit around the text rather than have someone else try to fit their text in the window...

The spine by itself, based on a 1 inch width:

Still very rough but all of the comments are helping me steer this thing

I know he's not an author, but can we still get that really old picture of Sklansky on the back cover too? You know the one I mean. I can't read a 2+2 book without an old picture of Sklansky and a revolver.

In fact these most recent covers look way too good IMHO.

Here's another idea I had, with hole card combinations in the background....

Roxysurfergirl00,
i really like your PNLHE design. It's way better than the cover in any of my poker books. It's actually better than the cover in 95 % of all the books that i own.

The tittle/subtitles in the sng cover look a little cluttered and i don't like it as much as the PNLHE cover. Maybe you could do one more cover for the sng book with the same theme that you used for the no-limit book?
