Id check it to induce a bluff, so obviously wouldnt fold it. If he was the kind of guy to pay of with smaller aces I'd just open shove.

Yeah right. Negative freeroll doesn't apply since the draw didn't come in. Would you pay off when the river was a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]? Would you then open push to avoid the negative freeroll?
