Default top two against weak tightie

live game.

i limp KJs utg, 3 other limps, blinds check.

flop comes KJx. checks to me, i bet, 2 folds and a weak tight limper raises. folded to me and i 3 bet...

anyone have alternate lines? perhaps a call and then a turn CR?

i think it depends on villains postflop tendencies if you know them.

specifically, i'd like to know how he reacts to a turn check-raise. is he likely to call down 1 pair or will he lay down strong hands. i'd also like to know if he ever raises draws for free cards (weak tight, I'd guess no, but some do).

if he's tight postflop i might even just call the raise, check/call the turn and bet the river.

I'd accept folding too since he is UTG, but I'm an agro-f'er so I raise it up too with most table textures.

OP doesn't say what limit he is playing but if his game is like any other live small stakes game I have seen then folding KJs for one bet is bad. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

If by most table textures, you mean, any live game that would be posted in small stakes, we agree.

raise PF is good.
I prefer 3-betting flop to flat-calling and looking to C/R turn; since he is weak-tight he often checks through the turn.
