Default Facing 5 bet on flop = Mortal Nuts?

Haven't posted in a while.

100NL

Villain and I are deep $250 stacks

Villain is probably slightly TAG 20/15 or so, no big reads other than he doesn't go psycho aggro for no reason.

I have J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB

Preflop

2 limpers, SB (villain) completes, I check

Flop

K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain bets $2, I raise to $8, folds to villain who goes $30, I go $100, Villain pushes... Hero seriously contemplating folding...

is there anyway this isn't the nut flush given the 5 BET ?

Not meant to be a bad beat post. Please consider this is 250BBs and I'm drawing dead if against nut flush, 60+% favourite over set.

Thanks

And he's drawing dead if he has any flush that's not the nuts. Call.. rapidly.

I think a lower flush is more likely than the ace high flush so you probably have to call. If your flush was any lower you could probably fold it.

This is like the 125th post in the last few days where someone flops the second nuts (or something similarly strong that's not the nuts) and decides to 3 or 4-bet the flop but is then confused as to what to do when their opponent shoves. If you're not ok getting it AI here on the flop the just call his 3-bet and raise/call the turn.

"i'm all in"

but considering you posted this hand... he must have flopped the nut flush right?
