Default Shove this turn vs. short stacked rock?

Live Cash Game. Commerce Casino. Blinds $2/$3. 9 Players. No Limit hold em.

Table full of nits and rocks, not much action at the table. Villain in this hand was the tightest player at the table imo. Had shown down only 88 and AJs in 2.5 hrs of play.

I had been playing looser than the rest of the table had shown down kk and aq as well as some bluffs with suited connector type hands, my image was definetly the loosest at the table.

UTG (hero): $175
MP+1: $450
CO (villain): $120

Pre-Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to hero (UTG)
Hero raises to 15$, folds to MP+1 who calls, as does villain (CO), all other players fold.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $35, MP+1 deliberates for approx 15 seconds and folds. CO smooth calls, taking little time.

Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero???

Also, thoughts on play pre-flop and on the flop appreciated.

Opening this hand UTG for 5BB with only 55BB behind is really bad imho. On the flop I'd probably go for a c/r. Pushing the turn seems good, you will be ahead sometimes and have outs if you're not.

Agreed this is a bad raise pf. To get proper value from suited connectors you need a full stack, and position helps.
