Opponent here is a 40/11/1 monkey over a smallish sample of 100 hands. Im thinking checking through might be the best idea, pushing seems kind of suicidal and if I make it 15$ to go or something then I can probably fold to a raise from this guy even though I'd be getting great odds. Thoughts?

I think you maybe should have bet more on the flop to start off with. That is a pretty ugly card, and i might check behind and risk another diamond peeling off or an ace falling to keep the pot under control, but that might not be the best play..not too sure here.
