Tom Brady 'caught' wearing a Yankee Cap in NY

just heard this on Around the Horn, lolz. Are New Englanders actually upset about this or no? If I found out Chad Pennigton was wearing a Braves cap I'd only be midly pissed, but I'm not into football.

I think it is equal. I went to a Yankee/Sox game last year in the Bronx and both fans were equally as retarded. I sat in the bleachers so I saw maybe a dozen fights which was a first for a Yankee game w/ me (never been to a Yankees/Sox game).

If I saw Sidney Crosby wearing a Browns hat, I'm pretty sure I'd be pissed. And that's even with the Browns being pretty much irrelevant these days.

I hate the Red Sox, I hate the Yankees, and I hate having to constantly hear about how they and their fans hate each other.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I think that fans definitely like to see players on their team showing loyalty to the city. That said, with free agency, and players moving around all the time, that's hard to expect.

Do you mean it is common in the bleachers for all games or common for Sox/Yankees?

I am not from NY but have been to 3 games at Yankee stadium. 2 were in the bleachers and only one was the Sox. The games that weren't the Sox I didn't see any fights.

If it is common in all games then that makes the fans that much more retarded BTW. Wtf @ fistfights during any game...that is taking life too seriously.
