Default 50NL KK line

Villian here is 14/7/2 about over 150 hands or so and hadn't cold called before this. After the smooth call on the turn I was really feeling set but wished I had made a ~1/2 pot bet on the river instead of check folding. Thoughts?

I might value bet $10 the river.

If he had a set... with those stats he reraises either flop or definitely turn with that kind of drawy board.

Either way I don't like the river check because it makes you look uber-weak. But maybe I'm wrong.

Or maybe the better play here was to bet the turn harder... go pot size to represent the flush.

This looks like he caught the flush to me.

I don't think he is calling your turn bet with much that you beat - only hand you might beat here is if he floated with a Q. Anyways, I think I would have given this up on river also.

I like a blocking bet here. Essentially you are still giving up but don't have to look weak. If he raises, easiest fold ever.

The river check puts you in an awkward spot. This is not a place where you would like to induce a bluff. That being said, I think it's a fold as played.

I guess blocking bet is probably better here and fold to a raise. You may get a bit more value from 88/99/JJ with a diamond.
