Default Things to decorate the room with next year

I, along with probably many others, will be moving into a new room next year, and am looking for some cool decorations. I've found a couple that I plan on using, such as:

Decanters:

Pool cue stand:

Anyone else got any good ideas? www.uncrate.com has some nice things to look at, albeit fairly pricey.

If you don't have a pool table, a cue stand looks silly.

I'm planning on decorating my room with stuff mostly from here.

I don't know where I'm going to be living after I graduate, so what is the point of getting a bunch of fancy stuff I might have to schlep halfway across the country.

No kidding.

I just used posters last year. I don't have a whole lot of room to decorate anyway, but I figured that I didn't want anything that would be a paint to put up or take down. I don't know what a decanter is doing to do for you either--are you living in an apartment?

Make sure you have very comfortable sheets, blankets, and pillows. Throw in about two small, but comfortable chairs and you'll start to see that everyone wants to hang out in your room. Don't worry about making it look 'hip' and 'modern', worry more about making it inviting and comfortable.

I got a 13" one that was fine for me, but it wouldn't have fit anywhere if it had been any bigger.

I think the OP did a pretty good job of it.
