Default Re: 6.50 AJ early weird line

[ QUOTE ]
I am in the fold AJoff boat. I don't think there is enough value in it at this level of blinds.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's better to think in terms of risk/reward. If you only put a lot of chips in on a J high board, I think you are not taking an undue risk playing it.

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think you can raise enough at these blinds to push out set miners and most other random junk hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can, but you are then putting too much at risk imo.

[ QUOTE ]
And when an Ace or Jack flops, well neither you can be really really happy with.

[/ QUOTE ]

You are kidding, surely? If I flop it jack high, I am fistpumping.

[ QUOTE ]
At these limits, i'm looking for a hand i'd be happy to get it in on a good flop with and AJ just isn't really that hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

On a J73r flop, I am getting it in with AJ dancing a jig, dude.

[ QUOTE ]
Yes when you move up to the larger buy-in sngs AJ early in the tournament becomes pretty strong in the CO

[/ QUOTE ]

You what? You are much less likely to be facing weaker aces.
