Default plasma choices, can\'t decide

not strictly computer help, but still.

we use a plasma connected to a MCE computer, so it's essentially a monitor. watch tv through it, with an occasional dvd and/or downloaded episode. recently got comcast hdtv box as well, so hdtv programming is watched without the help of media center.

planning on getting a 50" plasma. probably going for 1080p just so i don't want to upgrade if i buy a PS4 or something.

choices are Panasonic TH-50PZ700U, TH-50PZ77U, TH-50PZ750U and Samsung FPT5084.

personally leaning towards samsung, panasonics have gotten slightly more expensive, but generally get better reviews from friends, etc. we have an older panasonic EDTV plasma right now.

I have the Panny TH-50PZ77U and the picture is awesome and Xbox 360 is fabulous on it. I would have got the Sammy though, because, aesthetically, it's a bit nicer than the Panny and the picture quality was identical. Just get whatever TV would look best in your home
