I don't see the similarity. Anyway,

Hand 1: Raise pf. Post flop: Villain is aggro so you have the best hand here a lot. U need to re-raise the flop or raise the turn for value.

Hand 2: The flop is close, but we must fold the turn.

Hand 2:

hand 1:
raise pre flop
3 bet flop

hand 2:
why did you call the river?
what you think he's betting? queen high?

Hand 1: Raise preflop. Open-limping this is definitely an error. The rest is fine.

Hand 2: I raise this preflop, too, although it's closer than the first hand. As played, the flop call is fine, but I would fold the turn. Calling the river is terrible.

The hands are similar because they are both against same person and both drawing to gutshot straights. In first hand he had 46o in second hand K7o. I am starting to understand though.. I see that with a VPIP of 40 he plays lots of hands so I usually have a better one.. I definitely should have raised to the first hand I would have punished him for drawing..

The second hand .. I should have folded on the river because I had nothing and there were too many cards that could make a straight?

Thanks in advance.. I think I am actually learning a little something.

dont call the river when you cant beat a bluff.

OP, I think you have some problems folding (this and your TT hand). in general, if you have an underpair to the board, or no pair in a multiway pot, you are beat.

:g:

The hands are totally different but...

Hand 1
I raise or fold preflop
flop - I play the same
turn - I raise to see where I stand. If he 3-bets I call down but if he calls and checks river I bet river.

Hand 2
pre-flop - I play the same
flop - I play the same because of bdfd
I fold turn unimproved

Can we PLEASE stop doing this? pretty please?

raise for value. do NOT raise for information. its not reliable and half the time any info you get you ignore anyway.
