I guess by best I mean best place to play LHE?
This would be a combination of most games offered at each limit, fishiness of games or profitability, and fun, cool environment to play in.

As TT stated I am sure this is different at each limit.
I think if you want ultra high limit pretty much Vegas and LA would be the only regular places to play except for when a big WPT type tourney is in town.

I guess for me I am talking more the Mid Limits which I know are not so good in Vegas right now.

10-20 through 20-40 at the Turning Stone casino almost feels like robbery. Easiest games I've ever played in

LA is the king, followed closely by MN and AC. Phoenix games are incredible, similar to LA but they have kills.

Yeah many have talked about Phoenix.
If you had to go further and say the best casinos in the USA to play Mid Limit Hold Em how would that look.

Something like say this;
1)Commerce LA
2)Bike LA
3)Hustler LA
4)Casino Arizona PHX
5)Canterbury MN
6)Bellagio LV
7)Wynn LV

I can't really comment on East Coast (Foxwoods, Turning Stone, Atlantic City) or Tunica as I have never played there but feel free to add or modify the list if you have played there as well.

Hollywood Park and Hawaiian Gardens belong in that list for limit holdem games with stakes 10-20 up to 60-120 over Bike and Wynn in terms of quantity and quality of games. The environments at both places kinda sucks though.

You are all incorrect as to where the best places to play limit hold em are. Day in, day out, LA is clearly king (Commerce).

Second place is San Jose. It's not even close. Between Bay 101 and Garden City, there are usually a 8+ 20/40 games, 2-3 40-80 games, and a 100-200 game. All games basically go 24/7/365. There are also countless games in the 3/6 - 8/16 range.

Vegas would probably be #3, but it's a distant third.

Even if you're talking about poker in general, the Bay Area is still in the top 3, behind LA and Vegas (but this is only right now since the Bellagio has all the big action).

Bay 101 is clearly the #2 on this list by cardroom. If you include the atmosphere, staff, etc, it's #1, over Commerce.

good to know, I was under the impression that Bay Area limit games weren't as good as they used to be.

uh bay 101 games are obscenely hard to beat. hyper aggro, rife with crews, and ungodly amounts of money at the tables.

GC also has a major problem with crews working the mid limit stakes but the 40-80 game seems pretty safe, although nitty.

Artichoke Joes spreads 15-30 featuring 80-90% regulars who refuse to take eachothers money (soft collusion), but are more than happy to take yours if youre not running ultra hot at the time. Good action at the 6-12 tables tho.

Casino San Pablo is the naked face of desperation itself, abandone all hope ye who etc etc.

Lucky Chances no longer spreads middle stakes LHE, as all the players moved to their 2-2-5 spread limit game. Mondays they spread a borderline retarded 9-18 LHE w/ kill that rarely lasts more than 2 or 3 hours before breaking up. Ive spoken with the floor and several dealers who are willing to spread a 10-20 HOSE game if we rack up suitable interest, so that might be worth pursuing if peeps are serious about it. The 6-12 games are usually absurdly tight here usually.

Oaks, I dont know about yet. Im heading there tonight to check out the 15-30 game, will write a trip report tonight, albeit a less frenetic and insane one than my Vegas report.

All said and done, I dont see how any Bay Area LHE can make it onto a list in terms of beatable games.
