Don't forget about Keith Jackson in his last season. I swear he fell asleep during the 4th quarter of Texas/USC last year. Only time I've ever seen the announcing seriously detract from an all-time great game candidate.

bob cole called a Vancouver/Anaheim game on HNiC a couple months ago. he didn't know a single player on either team except for luongo, pronger and niedermayer. the entire game went 'vancouver with the puck...a pass...anaheim has the puck...a pass...'.
harry neale is not awful however, just bad.

I have to go Theisman.
My main problem with Theisman is that he has absolutely no sense of self-awareness. It's like he doesn't have a short or a long term memory, so he can make absurd comments and assertions with impunity, like predicting in week 6 that the Bears would go 16-0. Earlier this year, during a game in which it was snowing (I think in Seattle), Theisman explained how the temperature was not quite freezing yet. The other announcers said nothing, and he went on for like 5 minutes about how the temperature still had not fallen to the freezing point.
