Today my girlfriend called me an anarchist for complaining about government interference in our lives.

The fear of having Democracy Demons stealing my Pepsi and forcing me to drink Coke must be getting to me.

Being a statist and not wanting the government snooping around your daily life are not mutually exclusive.

It's silly that people think that is some kind of an argument. They are merely stating a fact, but they think that because 'anarchist' has such a negative connotation, they think it will make you try to distance from it.

When you oppose govt interference and central planning in a certain area, then you are saying that you want more market anarchy in that area. Maybe you can elighten you girlfriend about the natural order of market anarchy (for example in industries that we already see today, such as ipods, pencils, food, websites, etc).

he said government interference. It doesnt really matter I just try to keep tabs on the political views everyone has. It seemed to me like mosdef as been posting a lot more anti government lately. But I'm very likey thinking of someone else.
