Default Stars 12/180 5handed. Is my shove ok?

Villain was raising this spot a lot lately. Villain seemed pretty decent.

Is this shove ok?

If he is raising a lot from that position then yes I like it.

If you dont have a good read on him or if he isnt raising a lot then no I don't like it.

I'd fold this pretty fast. MP has ~10BBs, so he's prob not opening any hands that u dominate here. U also have 0 FE. This is a hand that (with 7BBs) u def want to open-shove 5 handed from any pos. U could shove over a button raise as well, but your hand needs some FE to shove over a raise, even shorthanded.

At the time I shoved I was pretty happy with it. However, looking back at it makes me realize I didn't had any FE.
But there was a slight chance I had him dominated and he would have a KQ type of hand.

Obvious he had AT and had me drawing almost dead on the flop.

I don't like the shove here since you basically have no fold equaity. With this hand, you will be lucky to be racing. If you want to make this play with a bigger stack thinking he is on a steal and you want to re-steal and not see a flop, then I like the play. In this situation, your raise is basically a min raise and won't get him to fold anything he is opening with really. I don't like shoving weak aces in this spot, would rather do it with KQ, or something less likely to be dominated.
