25NL - folding TPTK to flop aggression?
villian was 52/24/2 but only after 24 hands. the 2 is total aggression postflop, or is it supposed to be aggression frequency?

Re: 25NL - folding TPTK to flop aggression?
Id call and see his turn action. Folding tp to such a donk on this flop seems quite bad. See what his turn action is. Try not to go broke ie if he checks turn check behind and let him bluff river. if he leads strong try to recall how he has been in previous hands to help you out.

When a donk does this on the flop, he is never slowing down. Ever.

When a donk does this on the flop, he is never slowing down. Ever. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. He is deffinately strong betting the flop. Do you really want to play for all your chips on such a weak hand. He could be way overplaying top pair or second button which you would be a huge advantage against. He could also have a flush draw which he is not a huge dog. If he has a complete crap hand like Q4 of hearts he is actually a lil less than 50/50. You also cant rule out hands like 22 and 66. Whatever he has you are probably going to have to play for most of your chips to find out. Do you really want to gamble with this hand. You can get your money in with better hands. |

If you feel this opponnet will not slow down no matter what then put him on Turn on a non flush card.

I guess it's possible after so few hands that he's either had a good run of cards or more likely he's been blind stealing alot. But most of the time it probably is a fish as you all think.

Re: 25NL - folding TPTK to flop aggression?
Well if you are really prepared to put your money all in with such a weak hand why wait till the turn. I love calling a lil off with small pocket pairs and then hitting a set and finding a player that overvalues hit top pair. What sight can I play you on lol. Really though. You really think that most oponants are going to call off a $21 bet into this pot with a hand like a weak pair of tens. Do you really think that?
What you are mostly going to end up doing is causing him to play right by folding worse hands and calling with hands that have you beat. |
