Default 50nl - cold call with QQ?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $76.20
Hero (BB): $50.00
UTG: $49.25
CO: $55.15
BTN: $49.20

Reads: only been at the table ~5 hands so no reads on anyone

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO raises to $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, SB raises to $7.50, Hero calls $7.00, 2 folds

Flop: ($18.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $18.50, Hero raises all-in to $42.50

is there any other way to play this hand? i kinda hate pf, but i cant think what else to do, shoving kinda sucks since we're prolly only getting called by AA/KK, and folding seems far too weak. calling really gives away our hand... then again since im unknown to him i could be doing it with anything as far as hes concerned. so.. standard?

any feedback appreciated, cheers!

This hand is so hard to play postflop on a flop just like this that I would consider making it $20 preflop and folding to a push. Sucks to lose the $20 when you get pushed on, but its a lot better than losing your whole stack.

I like your play- you didn't fold out weaker hands by reraising PF. If you reraise PF you still lose to AA or KK (which I assume is what you lost to here) but now fold out the weakies.

You got a c-bet out of the weaker hands on a flop that isn't that bad for you.

If you lost to AA or KK, consider it a cold-decking and reload. Action to this point is not heavy enough to put him on AA or KK specifically and you're not deep enough to find out w/out going AI.

LMAO. I folded QQ TWICE this morning preflop to, let us say, modest heat.

I just had absolutely no clue what to do in either instance and let my inner nit guide me. Frankly, I don't mind either fold against total unknowns in both instances. Relative position clearly important in each case.

I like this line. My main problem is when he smooth calls w/ AA and sometimes KK since he will know by then the pot is heads up and may be looking to trap. Do we still play this flop hard?

Do we have odds for set value here?

i dont think we have odds for set value... Im calling on the bases that hopefully he does this with AK, then i raise ai on any non A or K flop.

i really dont like raising to $20 and folding to a 5bet. Theres a chance he'll push with AK, or he might just be mental and have 99 etc. I think putting half our stack in for 'info' that may or may not be reliable at all isnt a great idea.

i know im getting stacked by AA/KK with this line all the time, which sucks, but hes unknown... if we give him a range of AQ+,JJ+ i think cold calling and getting it AI on a non A or K flop is an ok plan. At least we pick up a cbet from missed overs

I like 4 betting pre and folding to a push like ama sugested. as played its pretty much the same as pushing pre you only get called buy AA KK. There is a remote possibilty that villian folds AA KK and puts you on a set but you can never count on that. guess SB could have JJ too.

Imo pushing flop is the same as pushing pre flop.
