Default 50NL - KK facing not so great turn

Villain is 42/8/.5 over a small sample, seems a terrible player.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($6.45)
Button ($27.50)
SB ($39.95)
BB ($30)
UTG ($35.90)
Hero ($79.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.5, 1 fold, Button calls $2.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $2.

Flop: ($8.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $6, Button calls $6, UTG folds.

Turn: ($20.25) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero ...?

What is our play here?

If you think he's drawing to a straight, he's supposed to have the J in his hand, so I would bet here.

I probably bet around $17 and call a shove. If he had 78 that's just a miniscule part of his range and bad luck.

In my eyes the river seems not so bad, I donīt think he is calling the flop bet with KQ or something like this, so the possibility of a straight on the turn isnīt so high, so a bet on the turn seems finde to me and lets look, what he does then.

That card didn't fill up any of the draws from the flop. I guess KQ, but that's unlikely. And J8 just picked up TP. I'd value bet again.

I wouldn't call this not-so-great. I agree with everyone else, take him to Valuetown.

Really? You wouldn't fold for $2 more? That's a leak you fish!

Haha, in all seriousness, it looks like most of y'all did not pay attention to villain's short stack size. It makes the decision to push the turn even more easy since hero is pot committed.

When the card hit I felt it was a good card because it didn't complete any likely draws. Villain had only 19 left so I pushed.
