3/6 AK situation/line check 100bb+
Villian in hand is multitabling reg who I think is decent - his playing 17.5/15.4 over a 600 hand sample - haven't seen him get out of line yet but I am sure he is capable of making some moves
I feel he views me as playing abit on the tight side - and unwilling to put my money in without the goods What would be a better line for playing this hand considering the situation I've found myself in - Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $3/$6 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $1,418.00 Hero (BB): $729.40 UTG: $296.70 MP: $1,315.10 CO: $799.05 BTN: $824.75 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players) 3 folds, BTN raises to $18.00, SB calls $15.00, Hero raises to $72.00, BTN calls $54.00, SB folds Flop: ($162) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $105.00, BTN calls $105.00 Turn: ($372) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Pot Size: $372.00 Comments and advice greatly appreciated |

Gross spot. I have a hard time seeing what he possibly could have that you beat when that turn falls except AQcc or AJcc and some splits against AK. I would probably check/fold weak as it seems unless i think there is a reasonable chance he would fold AA and AK to a push.

Re: 3/6 AK situation/line check 100bb+
So does out situation change if I was to have AA/KQ in this situation? IF so that means the majority of my reraising range I will be check-folding on turns - assuming he floats that gives him the oppotunity to really overrun my range in this situation?
In the hand I checked and he fired $240 - I passed but I was abit strung from what he could have since I would expect a raise from 77/99 on the flop - and find it hard to believe he could have QQ which left me thinking it's KQ or JT. . . |
