Default an \"omaha\" hand for your discussion

Main villain here is laggish but I haven't played with him very long and have no good read on his postflop tendencies.

Him - 120
Me - 150

I have Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Preflop - 2 limpers, I limp OTB, Villain/SB completes, BB checks

Flop (5) - A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I pot, he calls, other fold.

Turn (15) - 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He pots, WHAT DO I DO

He probably has the same hand as you with no redraws. Often times this is a blocking bet to stop you from taking a free card if your on a flush draw or full house draw. I just call the turn. Some times if the board pairs of flush draw completes you can steal the pot with the exact same hand as the villian.

Call and 'value bet' any scare card on river.

if he value bets i call, if he pots it........you just have to go buy your gut. any nut straight with a good redraw is reraising flop, so its more likely he has the same hand as you. i cant see him donking the turn with a flush draw or set

So if a str8 with good redraws pots raises the flop, why are just calling if he value bets? Shouldn't you raise?

What if doesn't have a str8 but doesn't think I do either cuz it was checked to me on the button?

I'd just call the river and bet a scare card, and I'd also raise a river blocking bet on a scare card.

Actually heads up I'd get it in here alot, his range is probably alot wider then we're giving him credit for.
