I do not like checking the turn behind against this guy, he doesn't sound particularly bluffy and there's a good chance he will call with a worse hand. (Specifically, 6xxx).
I suppose I fold now but it seems very weak.

Yah, checking behind on the turn would be pretty bad. Also, if I decide to call the turn raise, I'm calling his river bet or putting him allin if he checks.
