Thanks, I worked extra hard on flopping sets, rivering boats, and well timed suckouts.

[ QUOTE ]
If my advice can help just one single poker player go on a massive, ball-draining mega-rush for thousands and thousands of big bets that inspires him to take a wild shot at super high limits and TOTALLY CRUSH them in a frenzy of record-breaking, edge-case, positive results that rocket upwards in a vertiginous spiral of confidence- and cocaine-feuled expert play matched to the kind of face-destroying, odds-defying, nit-demanding-NEW SET UP!-causing, epic run of good cards that seems to go on forever and ends up revolutionizing not only the player's bankroll and poker game but also their actual life, giving them a profound sense of accomplishment and maybe even a brief glimpse into the transcendent machinery of infinite truth that lies behind the petty, pitiful, practical understanding of randomness we call "variance", then the work I've done constructing this incredibly long sentence will not have been in vain.

I say you take huge amounts of speed and 8 table for 2 days straight.
But what you're doing seems to be working.

bnorthro,

Always start your upswing/downswing charts right when it happens, so you should have cut out the first 250 or so hands so it looks cooler.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that after playing about 200 hands, I checked the forum and found this gem of knowledge.

Piiop,

When ever I go to play live I spend a good minute or so before taking my seat repeating the following words over and over and over: 'I will run well today, I will run well today, I will run well today'. It's worked wonders for my live game and I've had moderate sucess with it online. I'd say it is worth a try. Remember before each session, 'I will run well today'. It works!

Best of luck with your heater,
Hobbs.

i, like hobbs, am a firm believer in positive affirmations, such as...

"i'm good enough, i'm smart enough..." (can y'all finish the rest?)

"i will sell this house, today! i will sell this house today!!" (what movie?)

per your advice hobbs, i tried your mantra..."i will run good today"...been repeating this several times, everyday for the last week...sorry to say the poker game has shown no improvement, but man o man, i have the healthiest colon this side of the mississippi...i haven't been this regular in years!!!

THANK YOU HOBBS

the more aggression you show, the more likely your draw will hit.
