I cannot get to emperor... I need like 3 or 4 more turns, what do you do go straight for the high-priced monument thing?
Edit: yeah go for the monument thing early, build constantly, upgrade your fortress last, have a massive army and then try to get ridiculously lucky at rock paper scissors... I got like 500k and quit, cool game though

 good for 330th highest score tips? exponential growth baby! I max out farms first. Also you need like one or two status symbols minimum. I don't know if they are high-score-effective to get them all though

nice, I was doing it by maxing out marketplaces first since they give income then building farms only when i needed them. I built all the status symbols and happy things and built very few mines and smithys. On the last 2-3 turns I just spent all my money on buying weapons and making an army.
