Isn't a bet on fourth major spewage. How often does he fold here when he reraises third. If he does call here your basically just hoping to catch a prettier board, and if he reraises you, you have to fold.

I don't play razz though, so maybe my logic is wrong

I'm just taking a shot at it, hoping he paired or something. This is cheaper than a checkraise, and I am done with it if I get action. Also, he may flat call and I catch good and he catches bad next time, and it will be hard for him to call with 2 bricks.
