Default NL50 JJ facing heat on a drawy flop OOP. Plan of attack?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $52.25
UTG+1: $57.05
CO: $50
Button: $133.70
SB: $44
BB: $41.95

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $1.75</font>, UTG+1 calls, 4 folds.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($4.25, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $3</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises to $6</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($16.25, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets $13</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $44.5</font>, UTG+1 calls.

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($105.25, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $105.25)

Villian is 40/15/4. I thought it would be better to get in in on a non club turn. What should Hero's plan be for this hand on the flop and after? Villian was aggressive.

I think that, versus a LAG Villain, this seems okay, but I don't think you're going to get rich on hands like this one or anything. He'll have 7x sometimes, his flush will get there sometimes (or he'll miss the flush and spike an over to your JJ), and I think you need for him to play worse PPs this way as well to make up for those things.

I don't know -- when it comes from a LAG, I think a flop min-raise bothers me more than a bigger raise would. (And, while I prefer the turn card that fell to a club, I'm not exactly happy that it completes the OESD on the flop.)

I guess I'm saying that on the turn CRAI, I think I'm cheering for a fold. (When Villain calls, well, that eliminates the air bluff part of his range.)

You have an overpair versus a donkey. He might have you beat but be prepared to lose a stack every once and a while and 3-bet the flop to 20 and call a push.
