Default beat: swallowed diamond ?

here's the story

I was at the gym and saw something sparkle on the ground. I walked over and picked it up. it looked like a diamond, but was probably fake. nonetheless, I put it in my sock to examine it when I got home.

I forgot about it and a few days later (today) while doing my laundry it fell out of my sock. I didn't really know what to do to test if it was real except to scratch it. so I tried with various objects, including a rock that might have been quartz.

it didn't scratch, so I took a shower. for some reason I put it in my mouth before I got in. soapy water trickled down my lip and I spit to get it off, but I almost spit out the 'diamond.' I quick sucked in to save it, but accidentally sucked in some water and swallowed the rock.

what do I do now??
should I try to throw up?
forget about it?
wait for it to pass through and try to find it?

Wow. Where to start...

"it didn't scratch, so I took a shower."

It not scratching led you to take a shower? You would not have showered had it scratched you?

"for some reason I put it in my mouth"

Stupid is as stupid does.

Maybe it will get lodged in your colon, fester, and become cancerous. I suggest daily enemas for the rest of your natural life or you'll die.

yeah, it sounds weird. I forget, but the thought process might have been something like this:
"oo shower. but I still have this thing? I'll quick bite it to see if it scratches. nope, well it is in my mouth might as well leave it in there. also, wouldn't it be pretty balla to shower with diamonds in your mouth?"
