sweet electrical jesus that was brutal. i was going to try to play like 3k hands or so today and see if i had it in me. apparently i dont as i quit after 800. bloodbathed for a little over 4 buyins. for once the biggest pot i lost was total tilt/frustration shoving into the nuts instead of randomly getting coolered. i reserved that special place for the 2nd biggest pot i lost which i think i should have probably gotten away from anyway bc everyone in these games is a nit.

the good news is im able to pay attention to the action on 6 tables a lot better than i thought i would be able to.

i think 23% wtsd/26% w$sd is probably not good

heres the hand in question i think i should have folded. i would have shoved river if it blanked off and he checked but im guessing he was shoving any river, so im really happy i managed to make a straight instead of missing:

HOWMANY--

Yeah, that's pretty close in these games. The problem is that very few psychologies admit of playing a bare 8 like that.

Are you c-betting too much, esp. in multiway pots?

no i check behind a lot. my main problem is more that once i start betting i dont stop until i have shoved the river. actually its more like i either cbet flop c/f turn or bet bet bet. the guy in that hand was pretty retarded so my thought process was that he could have a lot of random sooted 8s that hed shove, T9 he slowplayed, KcXc or something. i can honestly say i did not expect to see QQ.

OK, that makes sense. But work on that not-always-3-barreling thing. But you knew that already.

You ppl have helped me and to thank you all I am going to share the most powerful poker secret of all time:

Trust me. Throw the Starbucks down the drain. No more diet cokes. If you're like me and can't stand the taste of this 'Rock Star' stuff water it down like I do. And then win, win, win and win.

Not for making the nuts and getting callers all over the place it isn't. Besides, CAZ doesn't sell Red Bull and the cans of Rock Star are bigger.

HOWMANY--

For whatever it's worth, I'm convinced that the minraise is a drastically underused (by good players) move given the dynamics of typical games these days.

Sitting in a little business office in Cabo. Fun place to go with the family. I just wanted to make one post and play a few hands. I log in, play an orbit and win 5 bets. I am the king of mexican online poker.

It is a good thing there is no interweb in the room so I can actually vacation instead of spending all night in the degen-zone.
