yeah, it sounds weird. I forget, but the thought process might have been something like this:
"oo shower. but I still have this thing? I'll quick bite it to see if it scratches. nope, well it is in my mouth might as well leave it in there. also, wouldn't it be pretty balla to shower with diamonds in your mouth?"

Is biting the thing really the best way to help you figure out if it's a diamond or not? You either end up with

A) shattered glass in your mouth
B) broken teeth & no idea whether it's a diamond

Maybe hit it with a hammer or something?

[/ QUOTE ]

The more you know:

Diamonds are very hard but also very brittle. I.e., they can cut steel but shatter easily. Hitting it with a hammer is just asking to be doomswitched.

Wow. Where to start...

"it didn't scratch, so I took a shower."

It not scratching led you to take a shower? You would not have showered had it scratched you?

"for some reason I put it in my mouth"

Stupid is as stupid does.

Maybe it will get lodged in your colon, fester, and become cancerous. I suggest daily enemas for the rest of your natural life or you'll die.
