Default **OFFICIAL SSNL Hand Reading Thread**

Rules

1) Each post must include the following (in this order):

* applicable reads and stats for hand + any notes or history
* the hand in question, with Hero's cards exchanged for X X
* the entire action of the hand, with the final pot in $
* the showdown must be colored in white

2) Do not make any posts in this thread besides ones that fit the above guidelines. Hopefully mod's will delete any others. This includes strat posts, flames, etc.

3) Do not post screennames, only converted HHs.

4) Please post at least 2-5 hands so that we can start to build a nice database.

5) "Do not post hands where some reg with normal stats just loses his mind by cold shoving 5 high after it's 4-bet to him or something. This idea won't be useful if we all post hands trying to trick people."

The point of this thread is to create a nice database of hands that SSNLers can use to train themselves to hand read more efficiently and more accurately. It will only be as good as the caliber of the hands that are posted, but hopefully there will be a good mixture of both standard and non-standard material so that all levels of players will benefit.

i think you should take out results.

but since this is your thing, whatever.

pf- pps/good hands like KJs and premiums obv (AK/etc), sometimes the occassional sc thrown in.

flop- still, the same range you raised pf with. sometimes taking out hands like QQ/JJ.

turn- same range you raised pf with, minus some of the better hands like Kx (i would imagine you bet the turn for value with Kx and check nearly all others).

river- you have a hand that can stand showdown obv. i would say like a rivered J or something like TT sometimes. or sometimes QQ or maybe a weak JJ.

Is this supposed to include posts like orange's above? Is this supposed to be a silent exercise in which we don't respond?

Also, Isura, white out results plz, and aren't we supposed to leave your cards out?

this guy is fairly laggy, ive played with him a bunch and he's insane. he always has 300-700bb stacks at almost every table and puts in long sessions, in which i see him run like God vs. most regs. i have him running like 26/20/6 over 1k hands.

Default Re: **OFFICIAL SSNL Hand Reading Thread**

so im getting crap that the OP is not clear. hopefully this helps a bit:

[ QUOTE ]
the OP should have said explicitly "in the end this should be a thread where the only posts that are in it are hands with the HH's whited out. ssnl'ers can use the thread as an excercize to hone their handreading skills by going through the thread and assigning ranges, then checking to see the results
stealth doughnut: however people are going to post nonstandard hands in the thread

[/ QUOTE ]

also, as one goes through hands, some possible questions to ask oneself:

what is hero's range?
what is villain's range?
what is hero repping?
what is villain repping?

what makes this hand standard/nonstandard?
