3/6 vs 5/T SH on stars
Hey everybody,
i play the 3/6 right now, mostly at stars, and i am totally rolled for 5/10. how does the 5/10 game compare to the 3/6? i witnessed that the number of tables running seemed similar, and in my limited experience lots of games running means lots of fish, so the 5/10 should be as fishy as the 3/6, right? Maybe people who play both games regularly can comment. |

yes, plenty of fish at 5/10. Also, much better VPPs / hand rate at 5/10.

Re: 3/6 vs 5/T SH on stars
different people will have different opinions. If you table-select well then practically any stakes can be good at least some of the time.
Why not just play them and see for yourself? It's not like you're asking about some B&M room that is a 45 minute drive away and are asking if the games are okay before you waste your time going there. All you have to do is open a 5/10 table instead of a 3/6 table and see how you like it. I trust my own observations of these games more than other people's anyway. FWIW - I think the 5/10 is a bit tougher and generally more aggressive than the 3/6. But this is a big-time generalization and certainly isn't consistent with every single table. |

Re: 3/6 vs 5/T SH on stars
imo 5/10 is a pretty tough combination of high rake and pretty aggressive play
+ tons of regulars play 5/10 if there aren't enough higher games going |

Re: 3/6 vs 5/T SH on stars
Is the rake higher at 5/10 than 3/6? Honest question as I havent played that high
