Musically in the past 100 years, I think Britain's done anything but fail. The Beatles, The Smiths, The Clash, The Cure, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, The Manics (yes they belong). Still though, Celine Dion and Brian Adams are pretty respectable as well.

oh yeah definitely, that was just like a 2 second off the top of my head list, i couldn't have included everyone. omitting radiohead was pretty bad though.

i know this isn't about foo fighters but i'm really not sure how someone can not like the colour and the shape. I really hate their newer stuff but I really like that album.

I can't really think of a band/song similar to your example but if I do I'll post it
