Hand 1:
Why didn't you bet the flop?
As played I think I can find a fold to his turn check min raise. And I def fold the river. But maybe this is to weak.

Hand 2:
Seems fin, might consider checking the turn and calling the river or valuebetting the river if villian checks, might be more +ev

hand 1 80% of time i bet flop, just mixing it up i guess (even tho it doenst matter since villain hasnt played against me before. so i should have bet).

hand 2 i think checking turn and calling river is equally as good as betting turn and maybe valuebetting river.

I find those hands where the flop goes c/c and villain c/mr turn is always a great hand. Folding the turn would probably be optimal but I'd probably call down.

Hand two I'd check turn behind and see what happens on the river.

I don't like always betting paired boards in position with an overpair especially if the board pair and your pair are relatively high. You get value from very little, whereas turn and river you might get paid off... and also you lose less by keeping the pot under control when villain turns up with trips.

First hand QQ on a paired boared is a small pot hand against this player. After all what did he call the size raise pre flop with out of position and not have raised with first. Most likely a small pair possibly suited conettors mid level .. So which of these hands does he come up with second bets with.

if I had a read he was tricky I would k the turn (call bet small on river), other wise I think the turn bets fine (lots of threat cards), with a plan to fold to any raise.

Hand 1: would he really check/mini-raise the turn with a bluff? If he wanted to bluff he would have led out to make you fold the overs you are representing. You're drawing here so i'd let it go. Ideally bet the flop as he's calling with worse, but if you want to mix it up go ahead.

Hand 2: if he had a draw on the flop he made it on the river; I can't see you getting 3 streets of value from 88-99 from a kind of solid villain.

* Take my advice on Hand 2 with a grain of salt as I'd usually value shove here but i don't think thats right

as i checked riv on hand 2, i said to myself... i really think he has 88 or 99, and i really think he'd pay a 1/2 pot vbet off... but i checked anyways. he had 88. so at least my read was right.. now i gotta just follow it hahah
