Are olives standard in a bloody mary? I've always just put in a pickle.

This is called a Boulder Sunset (mix the ingredients in this order...)

1 part vodka
1 part OJ
1 part champagne
Grenedene for color

This will get you drunk and it tastes good, great for mornings...

I think celery is most common, though I've seen a variety of things used from olives to pickles to cocktail onions. I have a friend who uses spicy pickled string beans to make his bloody mary's.

string beans, pickled asparagus or artichoke hearts are great. There is a bar here that has a bunch of different stuff like that.
