Default Time Warner Question

I am a Senior this year and last year I lived in a different apartment complex with different roommates. I paid the Time Warner bill and It was on auto-pay through my credit card. At the end of the year we cleaned out everything from our apartment as we were moving out.

I took home the Cable Modem that they provide for you. Thing is I still have it. The bill was in my name and I haven't gotten any calls from them . I am just curious if this is something that I need to return to them(obviously yes). We have cable over here but it was already installed before I moved in. I have no use for it, I guess I could call them even though i don't know my account # I'm sure they can get it for me. I'm not sure how credit works, but is my credit in shambles for not returning this?

Seriously, you've answered your question about three times there. What's the problem, are you too lazy to return it?
