Default Expert Hold\'em/Weak Tight Adjustments: Identifying Weak Tight Players

I've watched the Hand Reading and Adjusting Your Play DVD's, and I like them. For what it's worth, the commentary on the production quality may be true, but I don't think the production quality detracts from the value of the content.

As far as identifying exploitable tendencies quickly -- especially live -- what are your thought processes for classifying people who don't show down much and are reasonably tight before the flop? Do you start with a particular assumption (e.g., most players who are too tight are weak tight post-flop, so assume that unless proven otherwise)? Use pre-flop aggression to gauge post-flop aggression, until proven otherwise?
